A global ministry with a rich history and an extensive record of results prepares for the future.
This summer, CreatePossible partnered with Far East Broadcasting Company (FEBC)’s Development Team to hold a two-day retreat focusing on a strategic plan for fund development. Facilitated by InterVarsity’s former Vice President of Advancement, Barney Ford, this plan will ensure solid funding for FEBC over the next five years.
FEBC’s Development Team took an introspective approach by initially assessing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the team and the organization as a whole. With great emphasis on recognizing individuals’ areas of expertise, paired with the energy and experience of FEBC’s new President, Ed Cannon, the team strategically launched their plan around three quantifiable goals, with immediately actionable strategies supplementing each goal.
The strategic plan frees up FEBC to continue to carry out its mission: to develop media programming and deliver it to listeners throughout the world, moving them towards Jesus Christ. FEBC currently has a potential listening audience of 3 billion people, with broadcasts in 100 languages in 40 countries around the world, totaling 770 hours of programming a day, 365 days a year. Over the next five years, this strategic plan will enable FEBC to continue their life-changing work around the globe, including their most ambitious project to date, Project Isa.
